Plot Outline: The Bandit is hired on to run a tractor trailer full of beer over county lines in hot pursuit by a pesky sheriff.

East bound and down, loaded up and truckin', we're gonna do what they say can't be done...

Good Lawdy look at my schedule of things to get done!!!

Normally, I wouldn’t think too much about these deadlines, but from Thursday to Sunday I’m going to be in Austin for Mike’s wedding. So, that only really leaves me 3 solid days to get my stuff done….

…so you know what that means right? Thats right, its time to put that pedal to the metal and get crap done!

Holla ay y’all later! And while you’re cruisin’ down the information super highway, why don’t you check out

"Oh Snap! Guess What I Saw!?"

So yesterday, my homeboy Venice came to me with an interesting ad from the paper. For all of you not in the know, Venice is some dude who comes from vaguely somewhere in Eastern Europe. The ladies love him because he has an accent and one time I did a drawing of a blunt for him. Later I found out he used the drawing as reference for a travel poster for Amsterdam, which is absolutely hilarious. Oh, and he likes the comic books, so in turn I like him. OH WAIT! I was supposed to be talking about this ad he showed me! Anyway, yeah, he showed me this ad, and I looked at it for a second, and I knew something looked odd about this guy but…

OH SNAP, THAT’S ME!!!!
This is so awesome! Like, this must be some kind of time traveling long lost twin or something…hell, I don’t know. What if we’re related? He is like a dentist or something, maybe since I’m his twin that makes me entitled to money or free dental visits or maybe even a hug, I don’t know.
Anyway, the ad shows me, I mean Dr. Maedgen in a pretty nice coat/tie thing, and I got to admit, I look P-I-M-P in that stuff. Maybe I should go out and buy some decent clothes…Or maybe I should go out and find my long lost twin LOL!!!!

Silverwood, have a drink on me!

Birfdays use to excite the holy crap out of me. Now that I’m twenty one, I’m just not seeing the benefits of getting any older. I can already see rated R movies, vote, buy cigars, and now booze I guess. But I don’t really reckon this blog is about my birfday, as it is not for another couple of weeks anyway (don’t get me anything), but rather what a damn cool apartment complex I live in.
You see, I walked to my apartment today and saw an envelope taped to the door. My stomach always drops because this is usually something bad like a noise complaint or a bounced check or something, but not today. It was a birthday card of all things, addressed to me.
Wow, I think this is at least a little strange because like I mentioned, my birfday ain’t for a few more weeks. But a birfday card out of nowhere, now that’s damn cool. Now, I don’t feel too special, because my girlfriend down the way got the exact same card from the complex a few weeks ago, but still, that’s damn cool.

Sadly, I didn’t see Michelle’s signature on the card. I think someone at the main office said she doesn’t work at this complex anymore. For all of you who are not in the know, Michelle is the woman who showed JR and I this apartment, helped us fill out our forms, and took this damn cool photograph of me.

I’m gonna miss that landlady.
p.s, we have a new lady working at the apartment. Her name is Heather and apparently she has the “hearts” for me. Me? Oh Heather, I don’t even know you! How saucy!
Adios for now, kiddos! -Cowboy Raney

the light of a monitor through the smoke of a cheap cigar

You know, I always hated blogs and such. Anyone who knows me probably knows I’ve had my share of problems with blogs. If you ask me, they cause a lot of problems and mixed messages and all other kinds of nonsense…so why write one, you know? Well, I started to thinking that if I want to be a comic book writer as well as a comic book artist, maybe I outta start writing. I mean, you can’t be a skilled artist and not do sketches everyday, so what makes me think I can hold my own as a writer and not do some kind of writing on a regular bases. So, here you go, kids.
The apartment has been really peaceful lately. I think this is because school is getting a little more serious, the summer a little more of a distant memory. I remember coming home to dirty dishes, crap all over the floor, laundry strewn about…oh wait, that still goes on now. I don’t know, maybe it’s because winter has a way of slowing everyone down.
Anyway, I came home today, and everyone was there. Mike was working on the computer, John doing some math homework, Max playing with something in the corner, and JR at the drafting desk doing some kind of art. It reminded me of being a kid in middle school, coming home to a full house, sisters and parents and animals all over the place. I feel like the GTT house is no longer a couple of friends sharing rent in an apartment, but a home and a family. I like it.
